I’m one lazy person for writing about this six months late. Well you can also see it as six months advance.
I keep on saying this to myself – “book it or else it won’t happen”. If you keep on saying you’re going on a trip yet you’re not doing any progress to make it happen, there is a bigger chance of cancelling the trip.
I left my heart in Siargao, for real…
The trip to the north was somehow unplanned because we flew to Manila to join a half marathon. The race was in two days when we decided to go to Baguio.
The river was never the same again after Typhoon Sendong. The usual course was changed because of the new rock formations or disarrangements.
We don’t usually define celebrating anniversaries by sending flowers, chocolates, gifts or having romantic dinners. We’d rather spend it by going somewhere else or trying something we’ve never done together.
It was a fun weekend for all of us. The timing was perfect. We were there before the official start of summer. Tourists started flocking in right after we left the island.
The usual list goes from Oslob Whaleshark to Tumalog Falls to Canyoneering to Osmena Peak to Island Hopping and the list goes on because come on?! You got lots of options!
Before 2015 ended, I made a resolution – “Travel every month even just for a weekend”.
