They claim to be “the premier Safari Park in the country“. And I will not disagree. 

I’ve been to several zoos in other countries, seen quite a lot of animals caged and roaming freely. So when my friends wanted to visit the newest safari in the country, I wasn’t really “super” excited. To cut the story shorter, I expected waaaay less when we visited our very own Cebu Safari, only to be proven wrong.

Where is Cebu Safari Located?

Cebu Safari and Adventure Park is located at Toril, Corte, Carmen, Cebu, Philippines. It’s a two-hour ride from the city proper.

What to Expect in Cebu Safari?

Cebu Safari is for all ages! They’ve got plenty of sights and attractions for everyone.

#1 Flora

Michel’s Garden

Michel’s Garden is a flora walking trail showcasing a vast orchid garden. It features Senyorito Michel Lhuillier’s 40-year-old orchid collection.

Phalaenopsis, vanda strap-leaf, debdrobium, and oncidium are just a few types of the one million orchids you can see at the garden.

Gardens of the World

Gardens of the World is a beautiful tunnel garden featuring different kinds of plants from all over the world. Be amazed by the plant representations from the seven continents. From American cacti and succulents, to floras of Africa, to Japanese Bonsai trees, to Antarctic mosses and ferns – this part of the Safari is a must-see especially to the plant-lovers and plant-parents.

#2 Fauna

This part of the Safari consists of Birds, Mammals, and Reptiles.

You will be able to see different 16 types of birds, 9 types of mammals and 4 types of reptiles from all over the world.

#3 African Savanna

If you haven’t been to South Africa yet, try the African Savanna and experience the thrill of an African safari ride! They claim it to be the first in the country.

A vehicle will tour you inside the African Savanna as you get to see different types of animals in their habitat. This part of the Safari operates between 10:00 AM – 3:30 PM only.

#4 White Lion Safari

White Lions all the way from France and Germany, I say fancy! Meet the king of the wild by riding an enclosed safari truck. Observe them play and pounce!

This part of the Safari has a an additional fee. Cut-off for tickets is at 1:30 PM while it operates between 09:00 AM – 4:00 PM.

#5 Adventure Park

Cebu Safari & Adventure Park now offers thrilling adventures for the adrenaline junkies!

When is Cebu Safari open?

Cebu Safari and Adventure Park is open from Wednesdays to Sundays, from 08:00 AM – 5:00 PM

How much is the Entrance Fee?

Adult rate is 800PHP or 16USD. Kids 2 – 3 ft gets to avail 50% off, while kids below 2 ft can go in free. They also give discounts to senior citizens and members of the PWD community.
