Of Good Food, Great Wine & New Friends

It was a delight to attend Marco Polo Plaza Cebu’s Nederburg Moonlit BBQ Night a week or two ago.

I had the chance to meet other bloggers/vloggers. We were able to just talk about anything under the moonlight — ideas and personal experiences.

I honestly get awkward talking about myself publicly. I’d rather share my thoughts virtually, hence blogging. But I just felt so relaxed and comfortable that night. I loved how it was informal and very intimate.

Now, why am I talking about this?

The main reason why I wrote this is to share that the El Viento restaurant of Marco Polo Plaza Cebu together Future Trade International introduced Nederburg’s wines that night — White Wine, Red Wines (Pinotage, Cabernet Sauvignon) and Dessert Wine. They simply wanted to promote wine pairing.

I am no wine expert. In fact, I used to hate the taste of wine before but I’ve learned to like it eventually.

I find Nederburg’s wine really good, and that’s just my opinion. I’m not a wine connoisseur. I just think the taste is perfect for “novices” like me.

It would be “pretentious” to talk more about it when in reality, my knowledge about wine is only little to none. So I suggest for you to try Nederburg’s wines for you to know! I can’t pick a favourite, just because. 😉

I just feel like I had to share this sweet encounter with fellow local content creators. Indeed, it was a night of good food, great wine, and new friends.
