Magic happened at SM City Consolacion’s Ceremonial Lighting of the Christmas tree last November 12 at their Event Center. The Disney-themed Christmas centerpiece delighted both kids and kids at heart when it was lit in unison with its surrounding lights.

Adding a more whimsical approach this year, SM Supermalls collaborated with Disney for this year’s Christmas celebration. SM City Consolacion opted for a more dramatic yet meaningful flair to the ceremony.

Talented students of Our Lady of Joy Learning Center opened the festivities with Olaf’s Snow Ball, to which the unique story about kindness between trolls and a loving couple highlighted the true reason for the season. As the story drew to a close, the lights were lit as part of the skit and immediately brightened the entire mall.

The Yuletide spirit rang wide and true as glistening colors of blue, silver and white surrounded the Atrium. It was a magical night and the mall welcomed the season of giving as they encouraged shoppers to put a smile on children’s faces by purchasing the SM Cares Bears of Joy for only Php 200. Shoppers get to keep one bear and donate another while proceeds together with the bears will be donated to their beneficiary, SacSac elementary school.

To make the Christmas season more magical for everyone, SM City Consolacion will hold the following events:

Disney Frozen Toy Fair  – November 12, 2017 to January 7, 2018 at the Main Atrium

Bears of Joy – Buy a set for 200 PHP and share one with a kid in need. Proceeds will be donated to SacSac Elementary School.
